Concert Recordings £385

We set up during your rehearsals (or 2 hours prior to the performance), ready to record the concert. The recording is then edited, mixed and mastered back at the studio. The Final Master Audio CD is then presented, which can be used as the basis for CD manufacture. You will also be offered a DDP image to pass on to the CD manufacturers (often preferred as a more accurate master).

Location Recording £475

One full day of recording up to 6 hours. We set up an hour before the start of each session, and then record as many takes of each piece as you need to capture your best performance, or to get enough material to edit a complete/accurate take back at the studio. The recording is then edited, mixed and mastered back at the studio. The Final Master Audio CD is then presented, which can be used as the basis for CD manufacture. You will also be offered a DDP image to pass on to the CD manufacturers (often preferred as a more accurate master).

Recording Gift Pack £185

Up to 3 hours recording your vocals to a total of 2 pre-arranged backing tracks. The backing tracks would have been previously chosen by the performer and emailed for them to rehearse to in the privacy of their own home. We then record as many takes of each piece as needed to capture the best performance, or to get enough material to edit a complete/accurate take. The tracks are then edited, mixed and mastered on site. The Final Master Audio Tracks will be emailed in an MP3 format and/or a disc burnt with WAV & Mp3 files. If you prefer a bespoke arrangement, original to your performance and without copyright restrictions for posting on Soundcloud, YouTube etc, we will arrange this for you for an aditional fee of £185.

Mixing & Mastering £35/hour

I f you need additional time spent on your recording, have a smaller project, or just prefer to work on an ad hoc basis involving; Studio Overdubs / Mixing / Editing / Mastering

We can digitally edit, remix, rearrange and master your recordings. We can add that extra sparkle to any pre-recorded material. With a bit of magic, we can get your product to sound great and ready for any media platform.

Mastering is charged at the above hourly rates.

Additional information

Every recording package can be tailored to suit your particular musical/creative needs. However, a good starting point is one of our basic packages that you can then customise. For help arranging a suitable package to work for you, please feel free to get in touch and we can work through the options with you.

Billing: We take 50% deposit to hold your booking, which is fully refundable up to two weeks before the session. The final balance is due on completion of the project. We accept, Cheques, BACS and Paypal.

Travel expenses charged at 40p per mile + any additional road tolls, congestion charges etc. There is no charge for travel if based in Kent.

We can arrange the production of your CD without any need for you to worry about the often technically daunting process! We'll be happy to talk you through it all and give you a competitive quote.

It is important to have a realistic approach to how long a recording may take. The better prepared an artist is, the more tracks can be recorded in one session.

Album Recording Package (Call for a price)

Due to the varying requirements, a breakdown of expenses can give you an idea of how much an Album could cost when working with KeepingMusic.

Andrew can arrange and produce a track from a simple lead sheet with chords and a vocal recorded onto just an Iphone. For a basic produced arrangement in any genres/style = £250 (additional adaption will be based on an hourly mixing rate).
Andrew will then forward an MP3 of the backing track for you to practice to before arranging a session to record the vocals and backing vocals. Each session can usually record upto 3 tracks. Thus saving time, energy and money. Recording session = £475
All additional edits and mastering is carried out on an hourly rate.
